Prime Minister Albin Kurti has confirmed that he has accepted the resignation of Defence Minister Armend Mehaj.
“Today, at the request of Defence Minister Andmend Mehaj, I have accepted his resignation. The request for release comes from family causes. Minister Meheha I thanked him for his unbroken work, impressive contribution, regular co-operation and exemplary commitment from the first day of duty”, Kurti wrote.
He has announced that the new defence minister has named Ejup Macdonci.
I named Ejup Macdonci, with whom we have been cooperating so far in other functions. Ministers Macedonia wish him well in advancing our defence and security, developing and building our army. On this occasion we also held a joint meeting with the commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Union Jashari”, Kurti wrote. /Periscopo/
