He has indicated that this will happen because of elections to be held in the US and the EU.
In his account in “Facebook”, Kryeziu has written that the government of Kosovo should dict the dialogue process with Serbia.
“Viti 2024 and 2025, when there will be elections in the US and the EU, I don't believe it will be the best years for Kosovo, but in this period the international attention to Kosovo will fade and will be focused on any support development. If the current government does not give dynamics to processes that accelerate dialogue, it does not take responsibility for starting to implement agreements by the end of the year, it may be at risk of putting Kosovo into a phase of the status quo”, Kryeziu wrote in the next two years.
According to him, this Kosovo situation will have other consequences.
This situation, which the government is helping, in addition to maintaining Serbia within the daily and electoral policies, will generate a fragile and stable security situation, stalled in economic and democratic development, and loss of opportunities for empowering the state of Kosovo in international relations. Prime Minister Kurti, should cross the line from Kosovo as a project to Kosovo as a real, political and democratic state”, Kryeziu wrote.
