Kosovars top the world with mostly visa requirements

While Turks, Russians and Indians have mostly submitted visa applications, Kosovo citizens are the nationality that has submitted the most per capita demand, with 6891 persons applying for visas in every 100,000 residents.
According to Schengen Statistics, every 2126th person in the country with 1.7 million people has applied for visas in 2022, standing in front of all other applicants, while the total number of Kosovo visa applicants has reached 121.972. In general, 6.8 per cent of Kosovo's population has submitted a Schengen visa requirement last year.
Out of the top ten countries with the highest per capita applicants' ratings, only three Cape Verde, Suriname and Armenia have a lower percentage of Muslim citizens in it.
That means the other seven countries are all predominantly Muslim citizens. The list of ten countries with more applicant per capita is included by Cape Verde with 2,935 visa applicants registered for every 100,000 people. Consequently, each 34th person in the African country applied for visas in 2022.
Suriname and Armenia follow as fifth and sixth countries with more applicants per head with every 37 surinamez and every 45 Armenians that applied for Schengen visa last year. This means that 2.7 and 2.2 percent of the population in these countries have submitted visa applications, respectively.
Moreover, the United Arab Emirates rank 7th for the largest number of per capita applicants. /
