On July 31st, 2023, Albanian authorities arrested Dritan Makajj in Tirana. Dritan Ruj is the son of former KLA Chief of Staff and Albania's renowned Colonel Dilover Purkj. Colonel Dirkj voluntarily joined the war in Kosovo, where as an experienced military aided the Kosovo Liberation Army.
During the Kosovo war, son Dritan Badj joined in. The CK as an Albanian Army officer at the Air Force School and has had the authorization of the General Staff to maintain contact with the command of American forces in Albania.
Tirana's Prosecution has clarified through media report charges against former U fighter CK, Dritan Mostj arrested in Tirana at the order of the Kosovo Special Prosecutor.
In the prosecution's announcement, it is suggested that Mosty is accused of criminal acts “of suspending during criminal procedure” and “Denying the official person in performing official duties”, provided by the penal legislation of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the prosecution, “these procedural actions were carried out in fulfillment of providing judicial assistance, because the only Judge had issued the warrant and ordered his transfer to the detention of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in the Kingdom of the Low Countries (Cateries)”.

The only judge has found there is suspicion based that citizen D.G. holds criminal responsibility for criminal acts involved in the jurisdiction of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, namely, for intimidation during criminal procedure and obstruction of official persons in performing official duties, based on Article 387 and Article 401 of the Kosovo Criminal Code of 2019 (Ligian No. 06/L-074), as defined in Article 15ė2 of the Law. Following will be procedures for the extradition of this citizen to the Republic of Kosovo”, the Prosecutor's Statement said.
So has the State Police.
According to police, the Court has decided to allow for physical control and good residence.

This is the first time the Special Court has conducted arrest on Albania's territory.
