In the municipality of Gjakova, the major project of Ponosec's release has recently been completed -- an important ECDS initiative in order to improve energy infrastructure and the life of our consumers there.
Full of 17 new transformers are located at the release of Ponocec. They stretch along the entire new exit built by KEDS, where 580 new mid-tensity concrete pillars have been placed.
This approximately 30km-long line divides electricity for more than ten villages in the Gjakova municipality from Meja to Morina.
The release of Ponosec totals a total of investment of nearly 630,000 euros and is already benefiting more than two thousand people on that side.
The implementation of this project is the result of KED's commitment to improving Kosovo's energy infrastructure in order to provide a sustainable supply and safety to consumers. KEDB investment projects are continuing to be realised throughout Kosovo.
