Construction of a nuclear power plant, with a capacity of 1500 Mgavat, agrees Italy has reached with Albania with an investment equal to 4 billion euros.
The news is revealed by Italian media, which say convinced that this nuclear power plant will be built in Albania.
According to them, Italian companies that will provide skills, competencies and consultations are ENI (the Italian multinational energy company), EnEL (The Italian multinational gas distribution company), E DISON (the most ancient Italian company in the field of energy and natural gas distribution).
The realisation of such a nuclear plant undoubtedly requires a long working time, but the news has created not a few political debates, reports “Ora News”.
Transport Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini has demanded that the debate take a hint of a popular pro or nuclear energy referendum.
Italian economic experts estimate that the three companies mentioned at ENI, ENEL and EDISON are the only ones who benefit from this investment, while it will be very difficult for dozens of other companies operating in the renewable energy sector.
