According to President Osmani's granting citizenship to the Albanian literature icon, writer Ismail Kadare is a credit to the state of Kosovo for the creator, which is consistently an important reference point for Albanians worldwide.
Kosovo's “Republic and its citizens feel honored by the nation's outstanding personality, our world-sized writer, Ismail Kadare, who with his creativity has confirmed our language, culture and tradition”, has stressed President Osmani.
The decree of citizenship, writer Kadare, will be handed over by President Osmani during the visit, which will be realised in Albania at an imminent time.
By contrast, President Osmani, in June of this year, has decorated writer Ismail Kadare with the command “Hasan Pristina”, the highest that the Republic of Kosovo gives to the most prominent personalities of culture, art, and society.
