Informal Evenings in Greece, Shehloly: Kurt has narrowed the circle of visits

Institute for Affirmation of Interethnic Relations head Fatmir Sheholli said that the participation of Prime Minister Albin Kurti at the informal dinner called by the Greek prime minister, where other leaders of the Europe region will participate, is not expected to bring about Kosovo, referring to the recognition that this state can [...]
He said Kurt has narrowed down the circle of visits he can make to other countries because of EU measures, where, according to him, Kurt has no other countries left to visit him except in Athens and in several small towns in the region.
According to Sheholli, despite all of those informal visits to other countries after these measures that are imposed on Kosovo, are successful.
With Prime Minister Kurti narrowing down this circle of visits given that we have EU sanctions, any official or informal visit for our state of course has some success. But what it looks like is that our prime minister has no choice but in Athens and in some small towns in the region to visit since these sanctions have made him his own, he told Online Economy.
Sheholli added that if recognition of Kosovo is achieved any and often so far Kosovo's visit to Greece would be reasoned. According to him, nothing is expected from this visit except “folk, which the Government of Kosovo is now making of a time”.
The “would be very good that if Greece's recognition is achieved everything would be justified, otherwise these timely or monthly visits with Greece I can't see they're bringing any benefits to Prime Minister Kurti or to Kosovo, except it seems to be spending summer holidays. The presence of others there is good for us, but it is good that we are, but it is very bad that it is not Prime Minister Edi Rama. That fact would be good for Kurt to understand and make a brotherly request for reasons he shouldn't, which says a popular word that the <x1->mest name humveed” Greece why a Greek there in Himara because of the vote-tightening has been arrested”.
The “So from this visit to general, we do not expect anything except folklore which the Kosovo government is now doing at a time of”, he said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is due to leave towards Greece today, where he will attend an informal dinner discussion on the enlargement and European future of the Western Balkans -- dinner that will be organised by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. And the news was made known by the Greek media. After Monday's dinner, Kurti will have a separate meeting with the Greek prime minister on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Mitsotakis's initiative to invite leaders of the Western Balkans and EU member states to the Maximo Mansion for an informal dinner discussion on the region's enlargement and European future underscores Greece's role as a pillar for stability, peace and energy security in the Balkans and in Southeast Europe.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel have responded positively to Mitsotakis's invitation, something that is essential and symbolic.
In addition to Kurti, from regional leaders, North Macedonia Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers head Borjana Christo, as well as former Serbian President of Milosevic Aleksandar Vuciq will participate.
Leaders of countries that are EU members as Bulgaria's prime minister, Nikolay Denkov, Croatia's Andrey Plenkov, and Romania's Ion-Marsel Ciolacu will participate in informal dinners.
Albania's absence at this dinner highlights “the integration” of Greek-Albanian relations, following the imprisonment of Himara Mayor Fredi Beleri.
Greek media write that their government attempted a “drilem”, since in no circumstances can Rama be invited to discuss his country's European perspective while Beler remains in prison. So the invitation has been sent to the office of Albanian President Bajram Begaj, who has refused and thus Albania will not attend.
