(3 years ago)President Vjosa Osmani has been hosting a regular meeting today by US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier, with whom she said she has talked about recent developments in the country with a focus on the work being done to implement what is agreed on in Bratislava between Kosovo and the EU on extending the situation. As the Presidency reports, Osmani stressed that threats from Serbia and its criminal groups to Kosovo police belonging to non-US communities are intended to discourage communities in Kosovo from participating in institutional public life.
Osmani reiterated that these actions must be punished by all.
“The meeting also discussed bilate co-operation between Kosovo and the United States, with the allegations being praised for joint projects contributing to deepening these reports. The meeting also stressed the need for intensifying co-operation in this direction”, says the announcement.
