Hoti: The media are one of the pillars of the state, if it collapses it goes to dictatorship.

According to him, the Kosovo Clan's dispute with Kurti Government should also be addressed as the issue of media freedom, not just business issues.

“Of course, the law must be implemented without any compromise, but it has been wrong for the Ministry's administrative decisions to try to close one of the main media in the country to begin. A media can only close if there is a court ruling. Therefore, from the beginning the Ministry would have to run the case in court”, Hoti wrote on Facebook.

On the other hand, he has stressed that in a democratic system, media constitute one of the state pillars.

If that pillar collapses, then the democratic system collapses and heads towards dictatorship. There is no way in the middle of”, he added.

The license of the media is not measured by the number of recorded media, as it is trying to be sold by the power bulls. Freedom of medicine is measured by freedom of activity and their speech under any circumstances. If media commit violation of professional ethics, then there are legal mechanisms that can be used”, Hoti further said.
