Arsenal gets a heavy kick just one week after Premier League starts. Optimism was maximum after the 2-1 victory at the opening meeting of Nottingham Forest, where “Topcits” received the first three seasonal points thanks to Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka, but besides the result, more than the dominant game, where the Londoners had 79% of the ball ownership.
However, the only negative aspect of the match held in Emirates was damage to the new approach by Ajax Amsterdam, Jurien Timber. The Dutchman, bought for 40 million pounds, was forced to leave the playing field in the minute of 5150. Initially, the damage did not seem so serious for the 22-year-old, but later examinations revealed that Timber has broken down the ligaments and will remain out of the field for six months.

The Dutch will conduct the operation in the coming days while Arsenal has several other options in defence that could cover the vacuum of the former Ajax player in this period. The most likely option is Oleksandr Zinchenko, but neither is Takehiro Tomiyasu expelled.
