The US Ambassador to Pristina, Yefrey Hovenier, has acknowledged that sometimes there is consistency for Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, when he does not listen to the advice of international friends, when he does not co-ordinate or co-operate with them, regarding, as he said, implementation of the Ohrid Agreement.
“I have to say that from time to time, we give advice and suggestions and try to work with it, to do things in order to avoid the crossings or problems that might hinder the work we want to do together in the strategic goal of achieving full implementation, by both sides, of the Ohrid Agreement”, Houvenier said during a meeting with Kosovo journalists on Wednesday.
The “sometimes has consistency for it (effects) when there is no such level of co-ordination or co-operation or when our advice, according to our perspective, has not been fully accepted or when it has not acted on it”, he added.
Hüvenier said the question of where the heads of the north should work, so the alternative offices, has been among the tops of which they have not agreed to Kurti, with which he admitted there are reports of “s mixed”, where for some cases they had close and very good co-operation, and for others, differences.
However, the American said he respects the prime minister's right to make his own elections and determine what, he said, believes is best for his country.
Hüvenier added that Kurti is democraticly elected prime minister of a democratic state.
