Greece has rejected the assistance provided by Korca district firefighters, who travelled towards the border to go for help in the area involved by fires in Alexandria.
The European Civil Protection System has responded to Albania that it no longer needs land aid in terms of the fire situation, as they have been fulfilled by other EU countries.
This has prompted firefighters launched by Korca, Maliqi, Gjirokastra and Tirana to return after rejection by the Greek side.
Firefighters stayed the town of Bilish for several hours and later in the Cangonji Forest, but after receiving notice from the European Civil Protection System, they have returned as seen and from the following photos. /euronewsalbania/
