By means of this public letter we as representatives of public enterprise workers Trepca US, express concerns about the situation created in this enterprise and at the same time require the emergency measures to be taken in order to improve working conditions and immediate investments in this enterprise.

Given the current circumstances in the US Trepca Undertaking. It should be added that as a result of the lack of real state investments over the years, we face various difficulties, ranging from receiving late salaries (up to three cases), lack of workers, lack of adequate means for work (most of the equipment are old and damaged), the inability of realisation of rights from labour relations in absence of financial means, lack of quality health insurance, inherited debts over years.

Once an economic giant, who in the past had a capacity of about 22,000 workers, today as a result of the lack of human investment, modern equipment and technology, with a capacity of about 1200 employed enterprises, is unable to develop and show the right results and that in the situation in which it is located, the situation is alarming. From this reality, the company today is the cospa, which therefore flows the same with many financial and managerial problems, all as a result of the missing strategic investments over the years.

As a result of this reality, employees in this enterprise have expressed and expressed their everyday interest in moving away and migrating abroad. This is because of the uncertainty they feel and the fact that the same people appreciate that their future and their own interaction is uncertain.

As unions we consider that real investments in the US Trepca company are necessary and urgent, which will reflect positively in the direction:

1. The conversion of the workers ' own confidence that there is a future and that the efforts poured out over the years will be rewarded.

2. Economic growth: Investment in the S. Trepca Undertaking. A. will boost economic growth and help build a strong and stable economy for the Republic of Kosovo. The company needs considerable investment for expansion and research and development, and government support can enable them to realise their full potential.

3. Job creation: Trepca has capacities and may be the main generator of jobs in our country, and their growth translates directly into creating more employment opportunities. Investment in it would bring a positive impact on the employment rate and the reduction of unemployment.
