MI-8-type helicopter crashed in the village of Krasnoe Pole in the Chelyabinsk region, the governor said without providing information on the causes of the incident.
According to preliminary information, three people have died”, Governor Alexei Teksler said through a post on social networks.
He added that there is no damage to buildings or damage to people in the country where the helicopter crashed, which he said belonged to the FSB.
Air accidents in Russia are common because of a lack of safety and butterfly maintenance regulations. Air accidents, however, have become more frequent since Moscow began its invasion of Ukraine last year.
