The Kosovo government through a media communiqué has announced that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has met with Bulgaria's prime minister, Nikolai Denkov.
In the ZKM communiqué, Kurti has reportedly thanked Denkov that the Bulgarian state has supported Kosovo in recent decades. However, their bilatheral meeting has developed without state symbols, which in this case turns out to be a failure of the protocol.
The meeting has been held in the margins of Bled's multilatreal forum in Slovenia.
They have also talked about economic issues.
Kurti has invited Bulgarian counterpart to visit Kosovo.

A week after the joint dinner in Athens invited by Greece's prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, this time within the framework of the Black Forum for Security, Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a two-way meeting with Bulgaria's Prime Minister, Nikolai Denkov.
At their first two-party meeting, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Prime Minister Denkov for Bulgaria's continued support of Kosovo from 1999 onward, all phases of statehood, and support for Kosovo's membership through international organisations.
With his Bulgarian counterpart, Prime Minister Kurti spoke of bilateral relations between the two states and optimising the potential of co-operation, especially in the area of the economy.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti also announced Prime Minister Denkov's economic and democratic progress, key governance achievements and reforms in the area of rule of law and fighting corruption, which have been widely identified and praised in reliable international reports.
