Izmir, the initiative for the mayors' dismissal, has been described as problematic because according to him, these initiatives could cause future problems in all municipalities.
Another Zeqir has added that these such initiatives have not been practiced so far in Kosovo.
I will adapt any legal form derived from the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. But as for this initiative (administration guidance) in my opinion, there should be political agreements, voluntary resignations co-ordinated, it would be more sensitive, in my opinion. Since this decision is the prime minister's, of course it is a legal basis. But I see the launch initiative more problematic and less dignified because there are problems here, then procedures to download. My opinion was that it would be better to have a political agreement and a general agreement. I am willing to carry out my task in the best possible form of service to the state and society. I view a petition initiative as problematic. These initiatives have not been practiced so far in Kosovo, and I believe it may be some precedant for the future in all municipalities. That initiative may have its own problem because as long as procedures go on, it takes longer time and it is problematic in itself the initiative to dismiss the mayors”, said Zubin Potok chairman Izmir Zeqiri. /21Media
