In honour of Mother Teresa's birth anniversary, Bishop Prizren-Pristina in collaboration with the Institute of Spiritual, Cultural Heritage of Albanians- Skopje (ITSHKSH), organised the solemn academy. In this case, Gong Bojaxhi's life and work were elevated for which they were told to serve as guidelines for our lives. Kosovo Archbishop Dode Gjergji, [...]

Kosovo Archbishop Dode Gjergji said that honoring her is not an obligation but a privilege, because according to him all the peoples of the world would like to have a Mother Teresa.

She gave the poor everything she had, something from God and everything she gave to people. I say so after she gave away her feet to the poor, to send her to the poor and poor. I give you my hands so that they may feel the touch of the loved one, but with the other they may take the bite of their mouth to satisfy their hunger. I gave you eyes to weep, eyes that needed to shed tears, but that were dried from misery and misery... we marvel at her work, but she was convinced that her work was God's doing, so she said I'm only a pencil in God's hand... It should not be forgotten that honoring her is not an obligation to us but a privilege, since all the peoples of the world would like to have a Mother Teresa, but they do not have”, George said.

In one case, Culture Minister Hajrula Ceku praised Mother Teresa's image to the extent that her care for the poor and her life in dedication to the protection of those most needed should serve as a guide to our lives.

“The day of the birth of Albania's great mother, holy Gonge Bojaxhiu, is a celebration that unites us but as much as the possibility of reflecting on our troubled future with the values it represented. Its concern for the poor, a life spent on protecting those most in need, should serve as a guide for our lives, against poverty had mobilized a lot by turning it into a noble mission as difficult as fulfilling, but as she himself said, the greatest addiction is not to have what to eat but not to be desired, not to be loved, not to have someone who cares for you, said Ceku.

Similarly, priest Don Luz George, author of Gonge Bojaxhi's biography, praised Mother Teresa's life and work until he showed her life story from the beginning to the last.

Albanian “Bota in the first place, but also the world all over with many books and translations of my texts, which understood the roots, the origin, the background, the inspiration that Gonge Bojaxhi was clear when he left for missions. Our Pod then, Mother Teresa, has spent this time in the service of education, education, and civilization, which are three steps or three branches of what was a teacher, professor, and finally the principal of many schools of Loreto's sisters... We're ahead of the academic school start, to inspire all of us, family, school and society to do a larger service than a people who have no culture, unfortunately there's no present, no future... The new Pod dreamed of becoming a poet, becoming a writer, a singer, but, above all, it was the new Gonge's dream to become a teacher”, George said.

Meanwhile, Director of the Institute of Spiritual, Cultural Heritage of Albanians- Skopje (ITSHKSH), Skender Hasani said they have founded the department directly dealing with Mother Teresa's figure.

“We in cooperation with the Kosovo Bishop's Department, not by chance we're working on a specific strategy, and we're showing our institutional result that we've established a department, under the institute, is the Gonge Bojaxhi's legacy department, Mother Teresa, and this world's first department directly dealing with the figure of Gonge Bojaxhi, Mother Teresa, and we've shown in our event this figure-related thrill is the Albanian Gongi, our daughter of Skopje, while Mother Teresa is the whole world, while Mother Teresa is all Catholic, Hasani said.

Some of the political figures, such as the president of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, the chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, and MP Anton Kuni, were also present.

This organisation marked the opening of Mother Teresa's days, which will continue until the day its liturical holiday, on September 5th.

Albanian Nobelist Gonge Bojaxhiu ) Mother Teresa was born on 26 August 1910 in Skopje. After living in Macedonia for eighteen years, she moved to Ireland and later to India, where she lived most of her life.

I always have my Albanian people at heart. Many begged Yahweh for his peace to come into our hearts, into all our families, all the world. He prayed a lot for my fours and me and my sisters. I pray for you”, these are the words of St. Mother Teresa that we remember on her birthday anniversary.
