Doctor: Sovoran Fund to inherit state assets, debts remain AKP

Deputy Economy Minister Getoar Doctor said state assets will pass the Sovereign Fund without debts. He indicated that with the stake I will answer the AKP.

He added that it is not the role of the Sovereign Fund to deal with creditors' demands, but to develop assets.

“If we talk about the debts of public companies, of course, these obligations go on with companies if it relates to the debts of state companies that are under AKP management, that even if we don't violate the right of no lender, and the AKP will continue for a specific deadline to play the role of manager of these requirements and that even the failure of the AKP will then provide a more concrete response to old creditors I am trusting the AKP today, but that which is important for the Sovereign Fund is neither to pass debts, because it is not the role of the fund to deal with the demands of the daily credits, but that we develop the assets of the daily bases and the investments... The AKP is related to the fund but not uniformly as the process, the fund receives assets that are under AKP management, can be land, hotels, these exceed sovereign funds without obligations, while the government or another entity cares that creditor rights are transformed, ...
