Details from operation “Strike”, 72 people were arrested, 34 weapons confiscated.

Kosovo police, report they have drafted and implemented the operation “Godija”, which aims to preserve public order and security.

During five days (8 through August 12th 2023) of carrying out tasks stemming from this order, police have increased their activities in the direction of hitting persons and groups that by their actions may conflict with the country's laws.

During this time, with the aim of providing as calm an environment, more police patrols of various units have been made in urban areas and activities as follows are marked:

• 2154 have been realized Automotive checkpoint 730 of them with radar and alool-test,

• There were 12038 cars checked,

• 229 locals have been searched,

• 72 persons have been arrested, given 24 with court warrants and arrest.

• Thirty-four weapons confiscated, police report.
