Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MASHTI), Edona Maloku-Berdyna, has suggested he has resigned from this position to return academic work in education and science.

She wrote on Facebook Tuesday that her resignation has handed over to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, saying the welcoming meeting was in a positive spirit.

“Meeting welcomes with the prime minister we developed in a very positive spirit, as has been co-operation with him and all government colleagues during the task. Prime Minister Kurti warmly thanked him for the trust given, support and closeness shown in these two years of service”, Maloch wrote.

She said she is proud of her contribution to the development of early childhood, increased involvement of girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

“I am deeply grateful to colleagues with whom I shared the successes and challenges on this common journey. It has been an outstanding honor and a vital privilege for me to serve my country. Now I am going back to my academic work, to continue my contribution to education and science”, it says in its status.

Maloku had taken over the post of deputy minister of AugustI on May 27, 2021.
