Bajram doctor, former member of the Kosovo Radio Television Board (RTK), has been one of those fired in July 2021 from the Kosovo Assembly.
But this dismissal has been unconstitutional, it has been the Constitutional Court's conclusion Tuesday on August 1st.
That is why the doctor says that he is emotionally relieved, for he and his family have not been spared all this time.
And with this emotional release, he will not stop saying he will sue the responsible deputies.
Below is his full status:
Reaction: The Constitution spoke, right triumphed
Following the initiative of ten Kosovo Parliament deputies, when in July 2021 they submitted to the Constitutional Court after the arbitrary dismissal of the RTK Board by majority deputies, finally two years later, the Constitutional Court spoke today. The decision resulted in favour of the dismissed members of the RTK Board, which means majority deputies have taken unconstitutional action!
In my written request, which I submitted on June 21, 2021 to Mrs. Doarsa Kica Xhelili, chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Public Administration, Local Powers, Media and Regional Development in the Republic Assembly, I have asked that, due to sensitivity, establish the parliamentary investigative commission and all board members be interviewed for one, before our names are sent for dismissal in the Republic Assembly. We have been elected separately by the deputies of the Assembly, and we have taken responsibilities apart without ever prejudiced against someone else's mistakes or transgressions.
In my emotional plan, I feel relieved today because I've had my sense of dismissal for two years now. Even after today's ruling by the Constitutional Court, nothing has ended. In fact, this is just the beginning of the end of an opisade, until this burden has also weighed on my family, which has not been able to escape the terror so expressed in our brutal environment.
When the decision is made powerless by the Constitutional Court in Pristina, I will contact my lawyer to initiate the procedure of the civil indictment against MPs of the Parliamentary Commission for Public Administration, Local Powers, Media and Regional Development, and Deputies of the Parliamentary Commission for Labour and Transfers in the Assembly of Kosovo, who as a destructive tool used numbers and arrogance instead of professional arguments and approaches. It is these MPs, who eagerly and unimaginably tried to undermine personal and professional integrity in front of public opinion, so I would use all legal means to enforce justice that is lacking.
