Prygozhin, founder and bomb leader of the Russian private group Wagner was once a long ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but this changed after the mercenary sparked an armed rebellion against the Kremlin, reports CNN, sends an online newspaper Reporter.net.
The plane crash comes a few months after Prygozy started Wagner on a march towards Moscow, aiming to wet Putin from power.
American President Joe Biden has said that the odds are that Putin is behind the plane crash, which led to the death of his rival, Pgozhin.
There is not much going on in Russia that Putin is not hiding behind them”, Biden said.
So Prigozy and Wagner, the United States, have imposed a series of sanctions. Initially, they started in 2016 over the conflict in Ukraine until, in February 2018, Prygozh and 13 other citizens were accused of having intervened in the 2018 elections in favour of Donald Trump's election campaign.
With Prigozhi, nine other travelers lost their lives in the incident, three of whom were from the crew.
According to the Russian medium, “Russia-24”, eight of them have already been found bodies.
