This following the complaint of eight non-governmental organisations from the Serbian community, regarding the decision to separate means for nongovernmental organisations and media from the Kosovo government.
The Ombudsman's institution confirms that it has opened up cases for investigation into the question”, confirmed for Express from the media office at the Ombudsman's institution.
Allegations of misuse in the allocation of funds from the Kosovo Prime Minister's Office for the support of communities had raised Prime Minister Elizabeth Growing's adviser in August.
The newspaper Insander had also reported abuses at the Ministry of Communities and Kthim. A signal that was part of the commission to assess the public call for the financing of NGOs in the Ministry for Returns, through an e-mail has denounced misuse of public funds calls. Another 21 complaints have been filed. Amazingly, for NGOs who were rewarded in this case, the ministry led by Nenad Rassic has only disclosed the percentage of meeting the requirements, but not even the value of the money they have received.
The National Audition Office also found violations in these funds. According to the audience, during the assessment of apps for NGO projects in three cases of 71 thousand euros the beneficiaries had not met the specific criteria regarding evidence that they are not in process of extinction and deregulation.
And for support of the Nongovernmental Organisations in Insider's editorial has denounced a beacon who has raised doubts about how the state ark money was distributed by the Ministry for Return and Communities now headed by Nenad Rassic.
“Minister Rassic has had direct impact on how NGOs will be rewarded with one million euros, because there are NGOs on the list that will not pass administrativeally, there have been NGOs that have applied with half the documentation, I am a personal witness and later overnight. Hand over the document”, says this beacon.
In a written response to Inseyder, this minister has flatly denied the involvement of Minister Rassic in this call for NGO support.
The call was announced in May this year, until the results were published at the end of July. There were 57 listed. Benefiting NGOs. But, surprisingly, in this public announcement it has not been noted how much money each one received from the beneficiary NGOs. In the last address book, only percentages - how many of them each have met the documentation requirements. Neither turns out to have fulfilled 100 per cent of the criteria, but most of it is 79 per cent, and at least 51.80 per cent.
