Chief EULEX reacts after meeting with KFOR, KK Commander

In the coming days we expect the following technical meetings with the Kosovo Police to conduct joint two-week security assessments between the Kosovo Police and # EULEX and "in case." KFOR” KFOR announced that the subpass measures “will be implemented in the short term by institutions in Kosovo” were widely discussed at the meeting.
According to KFOR, the meeting was positive and constructive and “will be followed by further periodic meetings both at technical and executive level”.
While, Kosovo police confirmed that the “issues that were discussed concerned the security situation on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo, including recent developments in the country's north. The meeting was praised with a common interest in co-operation and co-ordination under relevant tasks and responsibilities, with the goal of providing security and maintaining public order and calm, as a common goal”.
Under the Bratislava agreement between Kosovo and the European Union for the North Despass, the parties have agreed that the withdrawal of police from the buildings of the four municipalities in the north and around them will be done with a joint assessment of the police, E ULEX, KFOR. So far only 25 per cent of them have withdrawn.
