During the call, Peskov told the BBC's Will Vernon there was a lot of speculation “about the crash of the plane and “tragic death” of passengers aboard. He continued:
The “in the West certainly comes from a certain angle. All this is a clear lie. When discussing this matter, of course, we need to be guided only by facts. We don't have much evidence at the moment, the facts should be clarified during the official investigation currently under way. ”

Peskov also said it is impossible to say whether Vladmir Putin will attend the Prigozhi funeral, because the president has “a very dense agenda”.
