British intelligence brings new facts: “State General” sank Pigozhini and took Wagner into his hand

Major General Andrey Averyanov, who heads the GRU Secret Operations Unit, is said to be the successor of Yevgeny Pigozin at the helm of the Wagner Group. For its part, Emily Ferris from the Royal United Services Institute said that the Russian president may have “learned his teaching” as those with dangerous “ambicy” as Yevgeny Pigozin are “wild quacrets”. Any new Wagner leader is likely someone selected from the Kremlin”, he told the BBC.

Meanwhile, sources have confirmed in the Telegram that a possible takeover of Wagner by Averyanov is part of a Kremlin plan to end the Prigozhin influence in Africa in order to replace Wagner with a private company controlled by GRU.
