The deputy chairman of the United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK), Vjollca Shala, has declared they do not believe the learning process will begin on September 1st, as she said, there is still trouble in providing students with textbooks. Shala has said in KTV's <x0 Minutes” that on Monday they have held a meeting with union heads at municipal levels and that many problems have been presented, as she said, was also lack of textbooks.
The “is in question whether the learning process will begin on September 1st. Problem is the issue of school textbooks. There are many difficulties over applying on the e-Kosovo platform as the platform falls over and over again. The problem is that a number of parents are not informed about him. How many weeks will be spent on school equipment. In many of the municipalities, there are no libraries for buying textbooks at all, teachers still have no knowledge of which textbooks to work”, Shala said.
According to the SBASK official, 50 euros will not be enough for the purchase of books for students from first class to fifth, as it puts it, the price of books has increased.
It is meaningless that the price of books in the library is lower than in the publishing house, where the supply would be made for all Kosovo schools. The supply of textbooks has been done earlier in past years. Now it's a tight time to distribute them”, she stressed.
Concern for Shala is also the lack of meetings with Education Minister Arberie Nagavcin, with the aim of resolving the issue.
