A couple of days after the case, Boan Vivant has reacted, expressing shock at the incident. Their response says that recently, and especially these days, there is a escalation of violence affecting every realm of life, and it's happening everywhere, in locals and streets.

The local management has announced that they will launch a campaign against violence titled “Bon Vie”.

At the heart of this campaign, there will be three CSR (Corporate Social Responsibity) actions of BonVivant as an integral part of the identity of culture and civil life in the capital.

Full response:

Dear Pristina fellow citizens,

Dear clients,

We're shocked at the tragic event that took place in BonView. We are deeply grieved and concerned that this has brought loss of life, hurt, and trauma to humans. We express our heartfelt condolences about this sad event. With a strong call, we address entrepreneurs, staff and every citizen: violence and crime have neither been nor should they be the model of living in Pristina or anywhere in Kosovo.

BonVivant, a country like many others in the capital and throughout Kosovo, has 40 workers on his staff who are dedicated to promoting civilized culture, where people come not to meet and deal with the scary unknown but to entertain and enjoy the advantages of a literal cultural life, where spaces, music, service and products create opportunities for interaction and harmony. Recently, and especially these days, we are seeing an escalation of violence affecting every sphere of life, without age and location. This is happening in locals, on the streets, in traffic, practically everywhere.

BonVivant has been closely following debate and public criticism, which in some cases have offered swift and radical reactions to resolving the situation. In some cases, criticism has become a game where guilt spreads without any constructive intent. This kind of reaction does not bring lasting solutions and culture. We want to change this model and create a rich and diverse cultural life in Pristina.

Dear readers, clients and fellow citizens,

In order not to be passive about this situation and not be indifferent to those who see the unknown at the locals, roads and squares as something frightening and criminal, BonVivant will launch the first phase of the campaign against violence, “Ban Vive”.

At the heart of this campaign, there will be three CSR (Corporate Social Responsibity) actions of BonVivant as an integral part of the identity of culture and civil life in the capital:

* It will create a donation fund, which will be filled with some of the profits of certain products and services, as well as the contributions of customers. Other gastronomial areas in Pristina that have will and confidence will be encouraged to join this fund.

* A certain day in the year, BonVivant will offer a rich programme for a limited number of students from the capital's Middle School who have shown good behaviour and excellent achievements.

* It will encourage the Nongovernmental Youth Associations to manage the donation fund, with the aim of going to those who set the example of tolerance and counter-violence.

Finally, in our capital, as well as in many cities in Europe, coffeeries, restaurants were places where people were freely communicating with acquaintances and strangers, sharing thoughts and creating new opportunities. The unknown was not synonymous with violence and fear. Therefore, BonVivant will continue to promote a culture where people gather to enjoy life and to have a natural gastronomic experience. BonVivant, along with many other gastronomies, have made Pristina an attractive destination for citizens from all over Kosovo and for visitors from abroad, without any distinction.

The unknown should not be described as frightening in Pristina, and in Kosovo it will never be!

Bon vivant will be restored soon. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Thank you.
