She's got her blood pressure. Ukraine to lose everything if it recognises Kosovo

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said Ukraine “will lose within the day everything in its hand”, if it recognises Kosovo's independence. He claims Ukraine would completely lose its political credibility by day. “After that, how can Ukraine say that it adheres to international law? I am convinced that [...]
He claims Ukraine would completely lose its political credibility by day.
After that, how could Ukraine say that it adheres to international law? I am convinced that [the president of Ukraine Volodymor] Zelensky will not throw this atu”, Vuciq said on August 8th.
He added that Ukraine is a friendly state of Serbia, and that there is no trouble in relations between the two countries.
Vuciciqi made these comments during a joint media conference with Serbia's prime minister, Anna Brnabiq, in Belgrade, where they answered questions about a letter of deputies from European Union countries (BE) and the United States, who demanded stricter measures against Serbia.
On August 7th, dozens of politicians from Europe and the United States sent a letter to senior EU and Washington officials, urging them to change their approach to Kosovo and Serbia.
The anger does not recognise Kosovo's independence, but with the European Union's mediation, Belgrade and Pristina are in talks on normalising relations.
Vuciq said the letter of European and American MPs “is not against me, but against Serbia. ”
“I am proud that Alicia Kearns and Bob Menandez attack me, but I am proud even when I see the names they used to be no longer there”, Vuciq added.
Ukraine's Ambassador to Serbia, Voldymyr Tolkach, said on Tuesday that more and more voices are growing in Ukrainian society for recognising Kosovo's independence, and that a certain number of MPs in the Ukraine Parliament are supporting the stance for possible recognition of Kosovo.
Ukraine does not recognise Kosovo's independence, declared in February 2008.
Serbia's “Ukraine's position is principled and stable dealt with by Ukraine and respects Serbia's territorial integrity”, the communiqué of Ambassador Tolkach said.
But, Toklach said Kosovo leadership “has taken a clear stand for condemning Russian aggression against Ukraine, specifically sanctioning the aggressor”.
He acknowledged that it is no surprise that voices are increasing in Ukrainian society in support of recognising Kosovo's independence.
“Ukrainian, as a democratic country that respects freedom of speech, cannot limit the expression of other politicians, professional circle or public”, he stressed.
