Bekim Blakaj from the Kosovo Humanitarian Law Fund (FDHK) on show “FIVE” on RTV Dukaagjini has said that changing the chief prosecutor is not much in favour of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office (ZPS).
“The construction of the chief prosecutor is an element that is not much in favour of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office (ZPS), even though the indictment was prepared long ago and made public more than two years already”, it has said Blake.
Blakaj has said it is important that chief prosecutor follow the case from beginning to end
It's important that the chief prosecutor follow the case from beginning to end. We have now had two chief prosecutors and both are extremely high-profile”, Blakaj said.
Judicial hearings against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders (UÇK) have returned this Monday after a three-week break of Kosovo Specialised Chambers in The Hague.
Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi have heard the sixteenth witness against them.
Sixteen witnesses at the Special Court have testified in Thaci and others' cases. He has talked about the Lapusnik area and the KLA's activity in the area.
Commenting on a KLA statement that the SPS prosecutor presented, he said there was no sympathy for LDK-In and Ibrahim Rugova in the Lapusnik area. Stressing that, according to him, for KLA command, Rugova has been an obstacle.
