How can you betray Kosovo's punitive measures with visas, and why?

In June of this year, a month after violence in northern Kosovo had cleared 29 May 2023, the European Union would warn punitive measures against Kosovo. In our public speech, these measures would also be appointed as ʹsanctions. Until Kosovo was taking the necessary steps, as the EU called steps for [...]
In June of this year, the European Union would warn Kosovo of punitive measures awaiting it in the event it did not take three steps (EU plan) to de-progress the situation in the north.
A month later, nJuly of this year, EU addressed Kosovo government Punishment measures.
With the punishment imposed, The EU would suspend work under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, and Kosovo would not be invited to high-level meetings as well. In addition, the EU would suspend the IPA 2024 programme funds.
The damage estimated by these punitive measures for Kosovo, It stands at over 500m euros.
The three points of the European plan for de-progressing the situation in the north were enlargement, new elections and return to dialogue.
Seting Punishment Measures on Kosovo, dor raise many reactions in our country, as the country was being injured economically and politically.
Government supporters in Kosovo would be asked with constant irony as to where those punitive measures are, as his supporters themselves, Prime Minister Albin Kurti speaks to Bloomberg today in prestige like this:
The EU's binding measures are hurting us in terms of financial support and material assistance that we accept in the form of grants and loans. The measures are hurting our state agencies and our business community”.
The Kosovo government itself has praised these measures as unfair.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi would stir up a statement when, before the measures are imposed, he said even if they were decided, we would adapt to them.
But it would be Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi himself, who in the same month when the measures were imposed, did not show any adaptation plan towards them, but went to Bratislava, to deal with EU High Representative Mr. Miroslav Lajcak, for the plan of de-terration in the north.
What is known as the Bratislava's deal would surprise the Kosovo political and public scene, since some of the opinion in our country had demanded acceptance of the EU's plan for de-progressing the situation in the north, and it was this same part of society, which was declared "traditarian" and Vuciqi's co-operative guard.
Another element that we remember in hot July when the Kosovo government accepted the EU plan for de-progression in the north, is that this plan was agreed on in Bratislava, when public opinion attention was on published wiretapping that showed conversation between Vetevendosje's chief of deputies, Mimoza Kusari, Serbian List Vice President Slavko Symouves and undened conversation with the crime boss in the north, Milan Radojciq.
So why? Bratislava Adjust (Accepting the EU's three-point plan for the situation in the north), punitive measures against Kosovo have not been lifted.
To clarify briefly, this is because the government of Kosovo is reluctant to have the second point of the plan scheduled for elections in the north, realise on the shortest road -- that of the resignation of current mayors in the country's north.
Lasting this crucial point for the international community ( The EU and the US, it seems, will last further on holding punitive measures on Kosovo's shoulders.
The visa issue would be coveted as punitive opportunities only in public opinion. No EU official would mention the issue of restoring the visa decision, even such information would be denied from time to time.
Even so, it is noteworthy that the trafficking of punitive measures was never excluded from the EU.
The last firm message on the issue comes on August 28, 2023, from the French president, Emmanuel Macro, who warns that his country will reconsider the pledges it has made on economic issues and visa policies for Kosovo and Serbia if they do not behave responsibly.
“Finance and Germany have made their promises for visa policies and other economic issues, which will be revised if the two sides are not acting responsibly. We should be extremely careful in this regard, especially when the stability of the Western Balkans is at stake”, Macron said. /Periscopi
