A SK: The number of beneficiaries has dropped from war veterans' schemes

“In July 2023, the social assistance scheme has benefited 20 937 families with a total of 82, 621 members, compared to the same period of the previous year that was 25 088 families with a total of 98 832 members, notes a drop in the number of beneficial families from this scheme for 41 or 16,5%<1>, the ASS reports.
In July 2023, compared to July 2022, there was a decline in the number of beneficiaries from: disability pensions scheme (-20.6%); Trepca pensions scheme (-18,2%); family pension scheme (-8,9%); age contributed pension schemes (-3.1%); basic age pension scheme (-2.0%); schemes for martyrs families and war disabled persons-17%; war veterans' schemes for surveyors.
