In July 2023, the social aid scheme benefited 20 thousand and 937 families with a total of 82 thousand and 621 members, compared with the same period in the preceding year, which was 25 thousand and 88 families with a total of 98 thousand and 832 members, notes a decline in the number of families benefiting from this scheme at 415 or 16.5 percent.

Reducing beneficiaries from pension schemes compared to a year ago
In July 2023, compared to July 2022, there were decreases in the number of beneficiaries from: disability pensions schemes (-20.6%); Trepca pensions schemes (-18,2%); family pension schemes (-8,9%); age-addy pension scheme (-3.1%); basic age pension scheme (-2.0%); schemes for martyr families and war disabled (-17%); war veterans (-0.2%).
A rise in benefits from pension schemes compared to a year ago
In July 2023, compared to July 2022, the number of beneficiaries from: The scheme for material support to families who have disabled children (14.8%); the pension scheme for the Kosovo Security Force (10,6%); the project for pensions of preplegic and tetraplegic persons (7.6%); the pension scheme for disabled persons (5.3%); the compensation scheme for education workers who worked during the 1990/91 school year until 1998/99 (49%); the compensation scheme for blind persons (4.3%); the Kosovo Protection Corps pensions scheme (TMK),4%).
