Bajrami-Nagavci: Don't bother your children, don't leave them without books that don't owe you

Education Minister Arberie Nagavci at a media conference said the ministry she runs is considering the possibility that this year she transferred financial means to her parents' accounts, so they can buy textbooks for their children. In a Facebook post, Bajrami said [...]

Ministry failure will pay children, their parents
The Education Ministry initiative to burden parents with buying school books just a week before the learning process begins is the wrong, delayed initiative that will have consequences for the entire system specifically for students and their parents.
The state should not be subjected to any blackmail or eventual conditioning from any publishing house, but decisions on such important things for the learning process should be taken long ago, preparations are made and not the whole society suffers.
So, we have a STAT failure because they've finally received high prices from publishing houses and now upload families and parents of children to buy books.
What if the financial means you distribute to August for that purpose are not enough?
What if there's enough books on the market for students? The lack of books in the market will be inevitable because publishing houses will not print books without ensuring that there will be a request, and parents' request will distinguish from August's.
Who guarantees that these publishing houses have lower prices if books are bought by their parents?
Who follows the market?
Who monitors the children's book supply?
What if a couple of weeks or even months pass and students can't afford all the books?
Last year our children lost a month of learning and no one took responsibility.
Minister, don't bother your children because they missed a month's lesson last year.
Don't leave your children without books because they don't owe you that.
