Just a month after it was carried out to the B2 power plant unit Kosova B, this bloc has been out of office due to the leak in the tube.
And with the B1 block, which is in referendum, the Kosovo Energy Corporation has remained with only two blocks of “Kosovas A” in operation.

The B-2 unit has stopped due to water leaks, today in the early hours of the morning, and is expected to be repaired and return to production tomorrow. There is no lack of energy, because KEK is contracting energy, power in capacity that the B-2 unit would produce. The two Kosovo A entities, A-3 and A-5 are producing 260 megawatts per hour (MWh), another 260 provided KEK, in total, 520 MWh”, Bucolli told KTV.

The outdated infrastructure of the Kosova A and B thermal power plants causes its blocks often to go out even after the remonts.
