Initially, police arrested a 43-year-old with initials J. N., where in quality of material evidence the victim's vehicle, which was found in possession of the suspect, was arrested today the second person, a 25-year-old with K.M. initials.
“With 12.08.23, around 17:15 it is reported that on the route of the KLA, South Mitrovica, a person has been found without signs of life. At the scene, it has been identified that the lifeless person is the victim S. M., 56 years old. Initially, the case has qualified as a suspicious death, the prosecutor has ordered that the victim's body undergo autopsy at the Legal Medicine Institute”, said the police report.
With the prosecutor's decision, the two suspects have been detained for 48 hours. While the case, suspicious “death” has been re-qualified in criminal activity “severe murder”.
