The arrest of VV's asmblist, Police: Drugs were transported by Pristina-Tirana buses, to cities rented cars

Mithat Ramadani, Besnik Mujejci, Kalem Picari, Ambra Miftar and Daniel Avdia are the people arrested.

The striking name is that of Besnik Mujec, who is once also the Asamblis of the Vetevendosje Movement in Pristina.

The Director of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, Tonin Vocaj, has appeared at a news conference detailing the operation, codenamed “PU NISHER 2”, where thousands of doses of ecstasy were seized and five people, two of them Kosovo Albanians, were in handcuffs.

Mithat Ramadani 30, Besnik Mujejci, 40, both residents in Pristina, as well as Kalem Piciari, 24, Ambra Miftar 28, and Daniel Avdija, the three residents in Tirana.

The arrested citizens have been located at the crossroads of the “Myslym Sholi” and “Sami Frasher”, along with the shipment of suspected narcotic materials, 11300 ecstasy tablets MDMA, weighing 5,093kg and the market's worth of about 400,000 euros. The investigation has shown that these citizens, exploiting the influx of the tourist season, passed remittances via the Pristina-Tirana bus lines.

After the shipments arrived in Tirana, they were transported to rented cars in Tirana and other cities, mainly coastal, and exchange places were assigned to public places with many movement and flow. To reach agreements with traders of synthetic drugs in Albania, traffickers demanded payment in advance, or even leaving vehicles as guarantees. Ecstasy Tables MDMA, along with a supply of narcotic cannabis, a vehicle, as well as 5 mobile devices, was seized in material testing quality.”, he stressed. /Periscopi/
