Alarm: A new virus in Greece appears, two victims, eight positive cases

Of the last Tuesday to this day, eight new cases have been recorded compared to 3 reported in the past seven days.

According to today's epidemiological report by the National Public Health Organisation (EODY), a total of 11 domestic cases with West Nile virus infections have been diagnosed in Greece since the beginning of this year.

Of them, 10 had SNQ manifestations, that is. encephalitis and/or meningitis and/or acute acid paralysis and one case had light manifestations.
