The role the false electorate played in former President Donald Trump's efforts not to leave power is at the centre of the act filed against him to try to reverse the outcome of the 2020 elections.

At 45-page act, set up by special prosecutor Jack Smith reportedly after former President Donad Trump could not convince state officials to illegally change the elections in his favor, he and his Republican allies began recruiting a series of false electorates in seven key states where the outcome was narrower, in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Viscons, to recruit them in violation of the law, that in their respective states, Mr. Trump and not Democrat Joe Biden.

According to investigators, the plan for false electorate started in Viscons, with a memorandum of the lawyer covering Mr. Trump's legal challenges during the campaign, Kenneth Chesefbro.

The latter, said in the indictment, wrote a memo mid-November 2020, calling on Mr. Trump's supporters in this state to come out and vote for him if legal actions on the outcome of the elections in this state were successful. In Visconsin, President Trump's election team called for the recounting of votes.

But more than a month later, another memo was launched, calling for this strategy to be extended to other countries, creating a series of <x0...

According to investigators, the final goal was not to have Mr. Biden secure the 270 necessary Electoral College votes for him to assume the presidency on January 6th.

ELECTOR RETRATION RELIGION

Further, it is said in the indictment, the process of rescripting false electorates began.

Former President Donald Trump and lawyer John Eastman asked Republican National Committee Chairman Ronna McDaniel to help Mr. Trump recruit electorates to six countries. According to the prosecution, falsely Mr. Trump and his lawyer told her that the electorate would be used only if Mr. Trump's election indictment proved successful, and she agreed to help.

According to the indictment, several false electorates in Pennsylvania had expressed to lawyer Rudi Giuliani and other advisors of Mr. Trumpl reservations to sign a certificate presenting them as legitimate electorates for the state, but that Mr. Giuliani had assured them that their certificates would be used only if Mr. Trump's legal indictments on elections proved successful.

Indeed, according to investigators, through an email on December 13th, the day before the Elexoral College met for voting formally defined by Mr. Trump's lawyer, Chesefro, said the plan was that these false electorates were presented as an alternative to legal electorate during the certified procedure in Congress.

“CMEANDUR PLANN”

According to investigators, on the eve of the election certificate in Pennsylvania, people close to Mr. Trump's campaign -- including a senior adviser -- raised concerns in a joint telephone conversation -- on the plan for false electorates. A deputy chairman of the former president's campaign had indicated that the scheme had turned into a crazy plan.

“RREME PROCEDURY”

On December 14th 2020, while democrat electorates supporting Mr. Biden gathered to cast their ballot, republican electorates also gathered. They signed and delivered false certificates to the Electoral College, claiming that Mr. Trump was the winner of the elections in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

These certificates were also sent through email to Congress and the National Archives.

These certificates were ignored by American lawmakers, but investigators say this was all part of Mr. Trump's plan and his allies to overturn the election outcome. /Vosa
