The renowned languageist Bahri Beci is separated from life at the age of 86, who was a member of the Academy of Sciences in Albania and an outside member of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Bahri Beci was born in Shkodra in 1936 in a family of domestic traditions. Shortly after completing university studies (1958) he was appointed a research researcher at the Literature Language Institute, where he carried out important leadership tasks, as responsible for the project management sector, science secretary and director.
Bahri Beci's university event lies in several countries, including the Institute of Language and Oriental Civilisations in Paris INACO. Bahri Beci is a member of the Albanian Academy of Sciences (2008) and an outside member of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts and the editorial editor of Atlas Lingurum Europe (ALE).
Bahri Beci took part as delegates and signatories of the District Convention Resolution (1972) and is author of two monographic studies for the unilateral processes in the formation of modern literary Albanian. As a researcher in Balkan language, Bahri Beci has left traces of contributions to the position of Albanian in inter-Balkan language.
Bahri Beci characterised his work's achievements in norms. Bahri Beci's scientific work is characterized by synergy by researchers in research and simultaneously in a deepening Western contemporary formation process.
