According to Tourism Minister Mirela Godbarlo, during July alone, over 1.7 million foreign tourists visited Albania.
For July alone, 1.7 million foreign visitors have chosen to visit Albania, or 26% more compared to a year ago. Since the beginning of 2023, we have hosted 5.1 million foreign visitors, or 31% more than 2022, who come with great curiosity to discover the diversity of tourist destinations and leave with the promise to return”, she said.
In addition to tourists from Kosovo, who keep their top place, over 7 months, numerous tourists have been from Spain, where their number has doubled.
The 142 percent increase has also been reached by visitors from Turkey, 62 percent from Montenegro, 58 percent more from France, and 53 percent from Italy compared with last year.
And 153 percent had increased visitors from Ukraine, and 152 percent more from China during 2023 compared with 2022.
