400m euros EU offers flood damage in Slovenia

The Slovenian government will also be able to withdraw 2.7 billion euros of financial assistance from the EU's future Generatium Fund and redirect 3.3 billion euros from the Cohesion Fund.
Tens of thousands of homes have been flooded and now tens of thousands of families in despair are asking how they will survive in the coming weeks and months,” said Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob.
He spoke a few days ago of the worst natural disaster “of the last 30 years in the country, as heavy rain turned some of the territory into an endless lake.
