The European Union's envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has welcomed the decision reached today between the Kosovo Police, the EULEX Mission and KFOR, to start leaving 25 per cent tomorrow of police members in the country's northern municipalities.
“we welcome today's first joint security assessment between the Kosovo Police, Kosovo's EULEX and NATO's KFOR, as agreed in Bratislava”.
This is an important step towards the full de-exception of tensions in northern Kosovo”, Lajcak has said.
