The late Maria Clara Urdangaray was from La Plata in Argentina, not far from the capital, Buenos Aires.
In November 2022 she had moved to Spain, according to her family “in search of a better future”. After two or three months of stay in Barcelona, Maria met with Swiss suspect (32-year-old K.* from the Bern Canton), and shortly later the couple moved together to Switzerland.
As the couple reportedly had come from Switzerland for the brother's wedding suspect, whom the Court has assigned 30 days of detention under suspicion based on the murder of 27 years old.
