Violence in the Parliament, who was interviewed so far

On Thursday, violence shown in the Kosovo Assembly by opposition deputies and the government cabinet became a leader even among foreign media. The location of the photo showing the face of Prime Minister Kurti with an animation of the cartoon character Pinocio by PDK MP Ganimetie Musliu was the starting point of a serious incident that took place inside [...]

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Mergim Lushtaku went near Kurti's folk, where he threw it in water, then the deputy prime minister threw it in bottles -- for more, the escalation situation -- numerous MPs were seen in the middle of the hall. Finance Minister Iron Murati was caught with glasses by deputy PDK, Hajdar Beqa.

Among the crowd is Bekim Haxhiu of The PDK, which slaps Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi.

And there has already been a verbal clash over who started the fight, power or PDK. For this, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has only started working, has invited several PDK deputies and deputy prime minister to interview.

The newspaper Insander has asked for answers from the prosecution to understand more details about the case, but the only answer we received from the hearing was that “referenced your request, we inform you that the case in question is in investigative procedure”.

But who was invited for an interview so far?

Of what is known so far is that Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, Finance Minister Hekuran Murati, and three PDK deputies, Mergim Lushtaku, Hajdar Beqa and Bekim Haxhiu, have been invited to the interview.

Three days ago, his testimony before the prosecution was given by the deputy, Mergim Lushtaku.

After the interview, his defense indicated that his client has been interviewed in quality suspects in the attack, but also the victim's.

He has said he is clearly seen as Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi has first attacked MP Lushtaku, and that he has done all his actions in self-defense.

The deputy Beqa and Haxhiu have confirmed they were summoned by the prosecution.

On the other hand, others are expected to be interviewed.

“organised”

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has commented on the clash between PDK and VV deputies and the ministers of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who were defending.

That PDK crash has described it as “organized” To the Government of Kosovo, adding that Kurti's government has no Belgrade-controlled minister or deputy minister, as opposed to past governments.

Government Orchestra Versus PDK

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has blamed Kosovo government for the first violence in the Assembly.

The violence, according to him, was orchestrated by the government against PDK deputies.

The government's “Today, MPs from the Democratic Party of Kosovo have faced a clean government charge, which, unfortunately, was based on physical attacks and inciting violence”, he declared.

According to the PDK's first one, the government's attacks on the opposition are aimed at covering their scandals, such as Mimoza Kusari Ela's communication with Milan Radojcicin.

And the second reason, according to Krasniqi, is for Government “to cover the shameful and secret withdrawal of Faithful Bislim from Kosovo's north this professor that provoked, began and consistently contributed to the government's physical attacks on our deputies”.

The Greatest Harm Institutions Can Be Done

Critics of what happened in the Assembly also gave the country's president, Vjosa Osmani.

Osmani wrote that using physical violence as a means to address discontent, differences or political disagreements is the greatest damage that can be done to institutions that have been built with so much effort and sacrifice.

Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, commented on the clash between the position and opposition.

He has called “shameful” the behavior of the opposition, while wishing it would distance itself from the actions of this nature.

Prime Minister Rama has called the form of opposition expressed in the country by the opposition as one at the expense of the country.

Violence in the Parliament, Headed Through International Media

Kosovo's Assembly received the attention of prestigious paper “The Guardian”

This newspaper devoted a text to physical confrontation between representatives of power and opposition, which occurred when Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was giving talks on the situation in the north.

The BBC, too, has dedicated an article to what happened in the Assembly, explaining that the punching occurred because of the casting of water on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The BBC article notes that “happened after a tense three-day debate over riots in northern Kosovo”.

Prime Minister Kurti was addressing the hall when emotions erupted. A photograph of him was torn apart and then began beating”.

Not writing either CBC NEWS, which cost a beating article in the Kosovo Assembly.

Other media known as Reuters and many others have visually presented what happened between the opposition power in the Assembly.
