A very violent storm, accompanied by constant lightning blasts and strong winds, hit Milan On and much of Brianza and the northern Lombard area at about 4: 00 a.m. A phenomenon accompanied in some areas even with hail storms.
Rainfalls in the city have been brief but intense, and predictions show opportunities for new rainfall.
The “storm also caused serious damage to our electricity grid”, reports the ATM, the Milan transport company, which explains that “some parts of the city and some warehouses are without electricity, while fallen trees and waste on the road block the normal roads of”.
