Kosovo diplomacy chief Donika Grovalla-Schwarz in Dubrovnik, Croatia has sharply criticised EU emissar Miroslav Lajcak for the way Kosovo-Serbia dialogue is built up.
According to figures that have pre-signed Gervalla, in the past two years there is a 30% increase in the degree of loss of confidence and increased scepticism for the capacity of European diplomacy.
According to data quoted by Gervalla, in 2021 there were about 50 %s who told the Government not to compromise in association, until this percentage in 2023 increased to 80%.
The same has said that the percentage has increased as far as Kosovo does not compromise in the facilitated dialogue by the European Union.
“There is a story of Europe's success to prevent a war. In the past two years loss of confidence and scepticism for the capacity of EU diplomacy has erupted with an increase of 30 %s. Until the year 2021, 50 %s told our Government not to compromise on association. Until the year 2023 in March was 80 %. In 2021, about 50 %s told us not to compromise on the relaxed dialogue. In March 2023, it was 84 %”, the Express reported.
She has said such an increase in percentages is the fact of any mediation.
This is a disaster for any intervention to produce such a” dynamic, Gervala said.
Citing these figures and these criticisms against the EU, she has said there are alternatives, saying a new strategy and new people are needed.
And of course there are alternatives. That's what we're saying. We need a new strategy and new people trying to understand a better way”, the chief of Kosovo diplomacy said.
In addition, Gervala has said that Kosovo does not use the EU for funding it gives, saying Kosovo is more for European values than for EU money.

I hope that the EU will remain in its values. Not just us words, but really. Because this will put the fate of the European concept in the global race”, Gervala said.
Lajcak has spoken after Gervalles and has told the Kosovo minister that there is another European Union on the planet.
