His resignation announcement on the social network Rhaja starts with a apology to all parliamentary group colleagues and voters who appointed him mayor and gave him 2 mandates as deputy.
With an apology, there are victims of violence as well, but also for the head of government, who he says had no debt for such great public concern that caused them.

I don't have words to express embarrassment to anyone who has trusted me all these years. Unfortunately, I failed as a parent and I feel publicly ashamed of my child. I request that friends and colleagues of the parliamentary group and declare surrender of the MP's mandate and my withdrawal from political life. I apologize to those who have given me the vote since 2000 as mayor and to two terms as deputy. I apologize to the victims of that humiliating violence for my family. I call on my son to surrender before justice. God gave me strength to endure this great pain and life to erase this shame that my son left on my shoulders. At the end of that gratitude and feeling even the head of the party and the prime minister, who didn't owe me any debt for such a huge public concern that I caused”.
A video that was shot by one of the aggressors during the conflict that took place two days ago on the Fushesh-Kruj Thumana axis where members of the Rhaja tribe brutally violated two Maya people.
