Shemsy Haziri, team chief leading investigations against Martin Berisha and Nagip Krasniqi, is dismissed

Kosovo Police General Director-General Shemsi Haziri has removed from office, Special Investigation Unit (former Task Force against Corruption) within the Kosovo Police, the team leading investigations into Kosovo Ambassador to Croatia Martin Berisha and former chief chief of the Kosovo Energy Corporation, Nagip Krasniqi. Haziri's dismissal has become [...]
Haziri's dismissal was made this Friday, until no reason was given by Kosovo Police for his dismissal.
Albanian Post has realised that Haziri's dismissal relates precisely to his investigations into former KEK chief Nagip Krasniqi.
The AP also finds that the arrest had come from the political level of leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Albanian Post has communicated with Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani, but he has refused to give answers despite opening the phone.
“I'm not at work right now”, Kelan said, suggesting “enter email whatever it is, even now they're forwarding it to the one who's the guardian for today, if he can get any information he won't send it back to”
The AP's insistence on an answer to a very simple question, “because Shemsie Haziri was fired?
“I'm on duty, Brother”, he said.
Currently, former KEK chief Krasniqi is in custody until his arrest had severely criticised Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
